BOBCATS IMPROVE TO 2-1
ALBANY, NEW YORK- Bryant & Stratton College improved to an overall record of 2-1 in a well-played game against Atlantis University on Wednesday, November 9th on their home court with a final score of 60-55. "Great team win today. We were down a few key guys and everyone stepped up and got the job done. It was a pretty gritty tough win that says a lot about who our guys are. Very proud of them. Shamar Mercharles was huge today on both ends of the floor. He was a force on the glass and protecting the rim. He scored some timely baskets and had some big-time assists. We want to build off this win and continue to grow and get better. We still have a long way to go, but we are heading in the right direction." Michael Shewmaker, Head Coach
Team Leaders: Detric Hearst led with 18 points and 8 rebounds; Shamar Mercharles bucketed 13 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks; Charles Echols scored 10 points with 4 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 assists, Amari Scott contributed with 6 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal.
