Emanuel "Tiki" Mayben is an accomplished assistant coach with extensive experience in developing basketball talent and building winning teams. His coaching career began in 2015 with the Capital District Raptors, where he honed his leadership skills, followed by a successful tenure with the Albany City Rocks from 2016 to 2020. Currently, he serves as an assistant coach for Team Fredette/NE6 Revolt, a role he's held since 2021, where he continues to mentor young athletes and foster a strong team culture.
As a player, Mayben's basketball journey is filled with impressive achievements. He led Troy High School to a Section 2 Championship in 2001, earning MVP honors and being named a High School All-American from 2001 to 2005. He was also selected for the prestigious Jordan Classic All-Star game in 2005. During his college career, Mayben contributed to an Atlantic 10 Co-Conference Championship at UMass Amherst (2006-2007) and became Hudson Valley Community College's Career Assist Leader (2007-2008). He later played a key role in Binghamton University's 2009 America East Championship, earning a spot on the America East All-Championship Team and being recognized as a CHANCELLOR'S SCHOLAR-ATHLETE.
Off the court, Mayben enjoys spending time with his family, watching his son play basketball, and appreciating moments of solitude. He loves exploring new places and experiences with his wife. Looking ahead, Mayben is focused on building a solid foundation of culture for his team, centered on Dedication, Determination, and Discipline, values he believes are critical for both team success and personal growth.
