GAME RECAP VS THE ALBANY COLLEGE OF PHARMACY & HEALTH SCIENCES -September 30, 2021
FREE KICK WAS A THING OF BEAUTY
ALBANY, NEW YORK - The Bryant & Stratton College-Albany Bobcats Men's Soccer Team played The Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences on Wednesday, September 30th, at a DH that started with the Men at 6:00 P.M. The game was well matched but remained scoreless until they went into overtime. David Kirabas struck in a goal shot that wrapped up the game 1-0 Bobcats, to improve their record to 4-5-2. Just as Head Men's Soccer Coach said in his pre-game quote, "It seems like every game we play is a big game. That's definitely the case with this game...." It couldn't have proven to be more true the way the match played out. "It was a very good soccer game from both sides. The two teams played hard and seemed to be evenly matched. I am extremely happy with the young men on how they played together. We fixed some issues in the midfield that turned the momentum around in our favor. Jared [O'Connor, GK], recorded his first clean sheet, the back line played extremely well, and David's free kick was a thing of beauty! Now on to Vermont Tech on Saturday." Bill Bogue, Men's Head Soccer Coach
