Bio

Coach Andrew Knight has been the Director of Athletics and Head Men's Soccer Coach at Bryant & Stratton since June 2023.  

Coach Knight began his coaching career as an Assistant Coach at several esteemed institutions, including the College of Saint Rose, Siena College, SUNY Potsdam, SUNY Plattsburgh, and Union College. In 2021, he served as the Interim Head Coach for the Union College Men's Soccer Team, leading them to an 8-8-1 record for the season. 

As a player, Coach Knight attended Union College from 2009 to 2013, where he was a Center Back and Captain during his senior year. He received the Bryan T. Baker '88 Memorial Award for his exceptional sportsmanship and leadership. 

Coach Knight's commitment to soccer extends beyond the collegiate level. He is a coach for the New York Elite Alleycats soccer club, where he mentors and develops young talent. Additionally, he played for the Bethlehem Soccer Club from 2004 to 2014 and helped his team win the National Championship in the 2010 USASA U20 category. 

In addition to his coaching and playing experience, Coach Knight holds a USSF C License and is a USSF Certified Referee. He graduated from Union College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and earned his Master's in Higher Education Administration and Leadership from The College of Saint Rose in 2022. 

During the 2023 season, under Coach Knight's leadership, the team achieved a record of 1-10-1. Despite the challenging season, the team produced remarkable individual performances, with one player selected for the 1st team USCAA All-America and the prestigious title of the USCAA Men's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Year, another for the 2nd team USCAA All-America, and the team boasting six National All-Academic Selections.
