Bryant & Stratton (7-22) earned their bid by playing the toughest schedule in the USCAA. Winning three of four from regionals bound Fisher College from late in the season, helping solidify the Bobcats late surge into the top 8 USCAA rankings and a final #6 seed. The World Series event is a double-elimination tournament. The Bobcats were National Runner- Up at the 2019 World Series, in their first year of collegiate competition. This is their second season of baseball, and their second bid for the World Series. Under Head Coach Bob Godlewski, the Bobcats travel to play the top teams within the NAIA during the season. This season thscheduled 7 teams that have received votes for NAIA top 25 in the country. Coach Godlewski is no stranger ttot heis series as his teams (College of St. Josheph) have won 2 National Championships and a 4th place finish to go along with Bryant & Stratton's Runner Up team in 2019.
This is a great tournament hosted by an organization that makes you feel you are playing in Omaha for the NCAA Championship. The facilities are top-notch and the way they treat the players is first class. I have been impressed with the USCAA since becoming a member, Godlewski states. Our schedule is very tough but it prepares our players to compete at a very high level. The majority of our games are played on the road. it is tough on our players to combine academieswith baseball from a hotel conference room, yet they get it done. I am very proud of what these guys have accomplished. They have one goal left.- Head Baseball Coach, Bob Godlewski.
Tommy Rondon will be the starting pitcher for the Bobcats in their opening round game against Mississippi University for Women at 3:00 PM.
