BOBCATS FALL TO THE ATLANTEANS
ALBANY, NEW YORK- Bryant & Stratton Bobcats fought hard, but couldn't catch up in their home opener against Atlantis Atlanteans on Tuesday, November 14th. Atlantis hit the ground running and by the end of the first half, the spread was 26-38. The Bobcats had a much stronger second half with a 5 point-deficit, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Atlanteans with a final score of 56-73. The Bobcats are now 1-1 for the season and will meet Atlantis again on Thursday for a re-match on their home court. "Atlantis is a very physical and energetic team who we did not match the intensity with. We need to start valuing the basketball and handling defensive pressure. We can't keep letting other teams dictae the pace of play. They beat us start to finish. Need to regroup and figure something out before we see them again on Thursday." Mike Shewmaker, Head Coach
BOBCATS LEADERS OF THE GAME: Aaron Corker with 20 points, Clinton Thomas, III with 10. Devon Smith-Johnson and Denali Burton both pulled down 9 rebounds. Trent McNeill, Devon Smith-Johnson and Denali Burton had 2 assists each. Amari Scott had 2 steals. Jaleel Petty with 2 blocks.
