BOBCATS BARELY LOST IN NAILBITER AGAINST THE ATLANTEANS
ALBANY, NEW YORK - Bryant & Stratton took the lead from the start on their home court for the first time in their two home games in the rematch against Atlantis University on Thursday, November 16th. Coach Shewmaker remarked after Tuesday's game, the Bobcats home-opener against the Atlanteans, that they needed to go after the ball-which they did and did well. The Bobcats fell short with just under a minute to go after again taking the lead in the second half. "Very proud of the way our guys fought to the very last second of the game. Our energy and commitment to playing hard for 40 minutes was there, but the reality is, you don't win college basketball games shooting 17-30 from the FT line. Need to continue to improve before we get too far in the hole." Mike Shewmaker, Head Coach
Devon "Von" Smith-Johnson (Von) dominated in just about every category with 17 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals. Trent McNeill contributed 14 points and Amari Scott put up 13. Denali Burton pulled down 12 rebounds and had 3 blocks.
The Bobcats will play at BSC-Syracuse on Saturday, November 18th.
