NAIL-BITER ENDS IN A TOUGH LOSS FOR THE BOBCATS
ALBANY, NEW YORK- Bryant & Stratton-Albany Bobcats fell to SUNY Orange Colts on Sunday, January 28th with a final score of 61-66. The Bobcats had the lead throughout the first half and went into the second with a score of 38-28 and with as much as a 15-point lead in the second, that was lost as the Colts edged their way into a position of strength. With 15 minutes in the second half, the game was tied up at 42. The team traded buckets and lead changes. With 3:40 left of the game the Bobcats were down 52-59 and closed the gap to 61-64 with 2.3 seconds to go. The game was a nail-biter especially throughout the second half. The Colts made their final shot on the buzzer moving the ending score to 61-66. "It started out as a fast-paced game where we were quick out of the gate. We just didn't hold on to that in the second half and lost possession of the ball when we shouldn't have." Michael Shewmaker, Head Basketball Coach
TEAM LEADERS: Amari Scott led with 16 points and 4 assists; Devon Smith-Johnson led with 11 rebounds.
The Bobcats will play against BSC-Buffalo at a neutral location at Union College in Schenectady, NY on Saturday, February 3rd.
