GAME RECAP v St. Rose Golden Knights (March 31, 2021)
"WE WERE WELL ORGANIZED, WORKED HARD "
IT WAS A WELL-MATCHED GAME
It was a well-matched game for Bobcat's season opener against DII Golden Knights who showed up with a 3-1 record -extending their winning streak to 3. With a scoreless match until less than a minute before the half, a goal pushed through. "The 2-0 score is not indicative of how well we played as a team defensively." Head Coach Bill Bogue
That defense Bogue speaks of is echoed by Head Coach John Ciano for St. Rose. 'Today a very determined Bryant & Stratton made it very difficult for us to break them down."
Goal Keeper, Nate Getman, was able to turn away 8 shots at frame.
"I am very very proud of the boys today!......It's been 16 months since the Bobcats have played as a program, and on their first game back playing against a DII program with a history, Coach Bogue displays onfidence and excitement for the season ahead. "We were well organized, worked hard, proved that we can compete with a DII program, and we proved to ourselves that we can outwork the opponent.s. Offensively, we are still working on connecting the pieces, that will come, and we will see better attacking play in our upcoming games." Coach Bogue
The Bryant & Stratton Men's Soccer Team will face Niagra County Community College this Saturday, April 3rd 2021 at 4:30 pm at Afrim's Sports Park. We encourage you to come out and to #jointhehunt!
