BOBCATS FALL TO SISTER COLLEGE-ROCHESTER
ROCHESTER, NEW YORK - After a two game winning streak, the Bobcats fall lost to BSC-Rochester on the road. Rochester played a very good game taking advantage of weak defending and the inability to finish. In the first five minutes of the match, Rochester took the lead on a mishandled ball near the 18 yard box. Albany tied it up by applying constant pressure and on a corner kick, Rochester handled the ball. Junior Depina evened the score with a penalty kick. Right before the end of the second half, Albany allowed a shot from the midfield that beat our goal keeper. Rochester led at half 2-1.
Head Coach Bill Bogues shared "The second half showed a strong high pressure that created plenty of opportunities for Albany to even the score. Unfortunately, Albany was unable to finish."
Rochester scored the third goal with about 15 minutes left to the game. The game ended 3-1. BSC -Rochester has a record of 2-1 and Albany stands at 3-5-1.
