01-21-2020 VS Penn State-Scranton
Following a grueling overtime loss on the road in overtime Sunday, Albany bounces back. It's been a streak of losses and this was just the turn around needed with plenty of season left to play. "So proud of the girls as they battled hard on the road tonight." Head Coach Jaclyn Welch
Improving their record to 4-13 with a tough season start, Albany gained a victory with a final score of 63-59. A team with plenty of talent has had typical challenges presented in their inaugural year at Bryant & Stratton College - Albany. Coming out to play each game with a winning attitude and becoming more fluid as a team, the Bobcats are improving. With plenty of talent it's just a matter of it beginning to all come together and that's exactly what we saw last night. Coach Welch went on to say "Defense was incredible. It was a great team win with having Perez, Feldman, and Sweeney scoring in double digits. We also had incredible defense from Harper, Cofield, and Chong. Everyone contributed and we left it all out on the floor."
Scranton came to their home court fighting for their place with double-digit scorers Cuono, Powell, and Berger, but it wasn't enough to get stops on Albany-the visiting team.
