RECAP -At NHTI, November 20, 2021
LADY BOBCATS SET THE TEMPO
CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE- The Bryant & Stratton College Women's Basketball Team traveled to New Hampshire to play NHTI on November 20, 2021. Starters included Regina Wallace, Saige Roberts, Aayliah Johnson, Anyla Harper and Hasjina Gaddy. Harper won the tip off, and a quick 3 pointer by guard Saige Roberts set the tempo. Following a stretch in the first quarter of 13-0, NHTI, got their first points up with just 4 minutes left finishing that quarter with 22-12 Bobcats. The Bobcats maximized their opportunities throughout the game and did a great job taking solid shots. Both offensively and defensively the ladies stepped up to garner another win with a final score of 84-40 and a now current overall record of 2-2.
"Our ladies came out and played one of our better games so far. The score as one thing, but they played together from start to finish. Senior, Aaliyah Johnson really stepped up as our point guard and leader-she ran the show. Her 8 assists led the way for others to score the ball. Hasjima Gaddy scored 26 points and had 12 rebounds in our win over NHTI. Saige Roberts exploded in this game leading all scorers with 29 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists.
