LADY BOBCATS BACK ON THE ROAD
BUFFALO, NEW YORK -The Lady Bobcats travel to Villa Maria (overall 5-4) to play the Vikings; their first competition since November 23rd, when they took a tough loss at Saint Michael's College. With an overall record of 2-3, the Bobcats have played all their games on the road and look to play on their home court on December 5th BSC-Rochester, with D'Youville on the 4th.
Head Coach, Jahmel Samuels emphasizes the need to play good transition defense and overcome the Vikings fast break. "They like to get out and score easy transition baskets. We must limit them to one shot and make it hard for them on the offensive end. We need big rebounding games from Anyla Harper and Hajina Gaddy. Offensively we need everyone to step up. I expect we need our leading scorers to have big games. Moving the ball, rebounding, and playing great-not good-defense will help us prevail. Senior Aaliyah Johnson will run the show and we need her to knock down shots. I expect big games from our guards Regina Wallace and Saige Roberts, along with VaunaLae Albert, who has improved every game."
History: The Bobcats hosted Villa Maria last February and won 77-43. Let's see how the 'cats do on the road less than a year later as they look to level their record.
The Lady Bobcats play D'Youville on Saturday, December 4th on the road and their first home game vs BSC Rochester on Sunday, December 5th.
