GAME RECAP: LADY BOBCATS VS THE ALBANY COLLEGE OF PHARMACY & HEALTH SCIENCES -September 30, 2021
IN A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE MATCH, BOBCATS FALL ACPHS
ALBANY, NEW YORK - The Bryant & Stratton College-Albany Bobcats played The Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences Panthers in a nail-biter on Wednesday, September 29th. It was rain that actually started to feel like sleet as the lights glimmered on these highly competitive players that played neck to neck until the final 1 minute and 11 seconds when the field went dark. The lights went off, but no one was ready to go home. Finally the lights went back on and the Panthers crashed the 3-3 score for the winning goal with just 49 seconds into overtime. No one held their heads down; in fact the Bobcats are improving each game and that tenacity and challenge within them will hopefully add more wins to their record as they set to play Vermont Tech on Saturday afternoon. Goals were made by leader in goals, Lydia Mohedano, Maria Teresa Croci, her first goal of the year, and Amy Leon who brought the ball down the field into the net like it was a stroll in the park. Goalie Maddie Herrara had a couple of beautiful saves when she shot straight up to deflect, but it didn't keep the Panthers from the final goal of the game.
